Bhutan

The Kingdom is Bhutan is found north of the Himalayas and is bordered by India and China. Formerly an absolute monarchy, Bhutan is now a constitutional monarchy and holds free elections. The country has the distinction of being the happiest country in Asia and ranked eighth in the world.

Though the economy is less developed, 40% of the population has agriculture and forestry as main sources of livelihood, with a small tourism industry. Mobility is diminished due to the lack of roads since Bhutan is mainly mountainous. Roads and infrastructure are difficult and expensive to build. Energy is also a problem as the heavy importation of equipment and fuel to build and power hydroelectric plants puts a strain on the government funds even though power is exported to India.

Areas or industries that may require rental power solutions:

      • Agriculture Industry
      • Power Supply Industry
      • Tourism Industry
      • Construction Industry

Even though reaching Bhutan is a challenge, Altaaqa Global can deliver temporary power generators in any conditions to supply electricity as the country rebuilds its existing hydroelectric plants.
