Montserrat is a British Overseas Territory on the Caribbean. In 1995, a previously dormant volcano erupted and rendered parts of the main island uninhabitable. A new town and a new dock is being built to compensate for the ones that were destroyed.

After the eruption of Soufriere Hills Volcano in 1995 and in 2003, Montserrat’s economy took a beating and is having a challenging time recovering. However, the EU recently approved a grant to help in the economic recovery of the island.

Areas or industries that may require interim power plants:

      • Construction Industry
      • Utility Power Industry

As Montserrat rebuilds, Altaaqa Global can help by offering rental power solutions to the island. Temporary power plants are available for deployment, with 24/7 support from a worldwide network of partners.
