Swaziland

Swaziland was a former British territory until its independence in 1968. Located in southern Africa, the land has been occupied since pre-history. It is ruled by a king who appoints a prime minister and the members of the parliament.

Agriculture, manufacturing, mining and remittances from overseas Swazis are the sectors that fuel Swaziland’s economy. Highly dependent on South Africa for imports and exports, Swaziland hopes to improve its economy by investing more in infrastructure to increase output.
