Tokelau

Tokelau is located in the South Pacific and is a territory of New Zealand. It’s population is roughly 1,400, and the right to be the capital city yearly rotates around three atolls: Atafu, Nukunonu and Fakaofo.

Tokelau has the smallest economy in the world. It has few natural resources and its agricultural sector is basically for subsistence. The islands rely on New Zealand for aid and its most basic necessities. Currently, Tokelau has turned to internet domain names for additional revenue.
